Is it harder for women to quit smoking than men?

Someone once told me that some studies have been done that show that it is more difficult for women to quit smoking than men due to a difference in the female chemical make up. Does anyone know if this is true? Has there been any such study done? If so, what chemical differences causes this?

People have tendencies to pick up rumors and somehow make them facts. Smoking is the most addictive drug you can imagine for both women and men.
