I Quit Smoking. What Can I Look Forward To Health Wise From Here On Out?
After battling with the disgusting habit for some years now, Ive quit for good. Taking up boxing and loving it. But wanted to positive encouragement from anyone, to get me through the throws of withdrawl. Hows my body healing? Will it go back to normal? Ive smoked for about 10 years as a light smoker.

Congratulations! The good news is that ten years of less than a pack a day will not significantly effect your life expectancy. And your risk of cardiovascular events should go to normal with in a year. Just keep in mnd that some of the damage never goes away. If you resume smoking, you’ll essentially be picking up where you left off, riskwise, and eventually you’ll get to the point where you have a serious added risk of eventually developing lung cancer, emphysema, and other smoking-related illnesses.
You’re lucky. It took me longer to quit. I checked it out online and my cancer risk will never go all the way down.

I’m sure that your body is thanking you now!!! Nicotine, the chemical in the cigarette, causes your brain cells to be all funky, and makes you crave it. Also, now your lungs don’t have to breathe in all that disgusting junk!!! You probably feel like a very healthy person. Congrats on quitting!!! Many people can’t quit, so you must be a very strong minded person.
Have a great day!!

within 1 year your body will be like you never smoked, assuming you haven’t done any permanent damage already, which you probally have not done cuz the vast majority heal
