Tell Me How You Quit Smoking? Or Some Good Ways?







I’ve been smoking cigarettes for only 3 years, but still feels wayy too long. I’ve tried a million times to just quit cold turkey, but it is just NOT working. Especially when I drink alcohol or when I am around others who smoke. How’d you quit? Or do you know of any remedies?

    Ayurveda:
    To help you quit smoking or cut down on your habit, try chewing on small pieces of dried pineapple ( about 1/2 teaspoon’s worth) mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of honey, suggests Vasant Lad, B.A.M.Sc., M.A.Sc.
    Hydrotherapy:
    The body wrap, or wet sheet pack, can help detoxify your system if you’re trying to quit. This treatment can be done at home but will probably require help from a partner.
    After warming up with a hot shower , lie down on the bed with your entire body wrapped in a sheet wrung out in cold water. Then wrap your self in or more wool blankets. While the pack feels cool at first,your body heat will gradually dry the sheet, and you will began to sweat. Leave the wrap in place for one to two hours after you start perspiring.Dr. Thomas suggests using this treatment once a day until you no longer feel as intense a craving for cigarettes.

    Hello!
    take a look at this discussion forum thread. Maybe electronic cigarettes are something for you.
    Some say that using electronic cigarettes can help you quit smoking. Currently there is no scientific evidence for or against it. One option is to gradually lower the level of nicotine in your cartridges to become nicotine and tobacco free.
    The other option is to smoke electronic cigarettes with zero nicotine cartridges while applying nicotine patches. That way you separate addiction and habit.

    I did it for the man that I love. He hated smoking so I quit cold turkey, with no pills or any gum just all natural and I was smoking for 7 years. So to the point…. I quit by working out more, chewing lots of guma nd keeping myself busy as possible. Anytime I needed a cigerette I would go for a walk or eat something sweet. I gained 5 pounds but that was no biggoe to me. I would reccommend staying away from the bars and alcohol for a while. I still do crave for for a ciggerette every now and then but I get through it….Good Luck
