Do Yo Still Have The Same Nicotine Withdraws When You Use Chantix?

What are some of the side effects and are they worth it? Taking a pill scares me, but I really want to quit. Any other ideas, nicotine replacement (gum, patches?) do they work?

I used Chantix. I started taking it on March 15 while still smoking and I quit smoking on March 22 (my BD) as planned. I had some vivid dreams, but no nightmares. There was some withdrawal cravings, probably for about a week or so, but not *nearly* as strong as trying to quit cold-turkey.
Chantix was the only thing that worked for me after 30+ years of smoking and more failed quit attempts than I could count.
