How Can I Convince Him To Stop Smoking?

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for over a year now and he started smoking a couple months ago. I’m definitely NOT okay with it.
I fell in love with the boy who DIDN’T now that he does i absolutely hate it.
He doesn’t think it should effect us at all but i think it is.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me to convince him to stop smoking!
his arguments:
-its social
-its fun
-its harmless

   Somethings gotta give baby. The smoking or me…Which is more important?
   hahaha…nah i mean smoking is highly unhealthy….he has absolutely no reason to start…You can tell him to sleep on the couch everytime he smokes….or even hold back sex….just tell him that smoking is disgusting, and that you want nothing to do with him when he does….that’ll get him on the path to quitting real quick…

   Also let him be aware of just how unattractive he is now. No one wants to kiss a guy who smells bad, has yellow teeth, and probably has some crazy gunk going on in his throat.
   Plus what kind of life could you lead together if he’s gonna die early anyway?

   He’s just smoking a cigarette, no reason to panic. He’ll quit when he’s ready, if ever. If it’s ruining your life find a non-smoker. Pretty shallow of you.

   smoking is very hard to quit once you started but its possible to quit you should take him to a hospital and show him people with copd… i almost garantee he will quit
