Lollipops, part of the appeal of smoking is doing something with your hands. My husband quit cold turkey, and he drove me crazy. Avoid long roadtrips and drinking for awhile.

Maybe because smoking is an addiction. A terrible addiction at that. I used to be a smoker, but I’m now smoke-free for around 5 years. Happily living my life with my wife and kids.
From my experience, you need a wake up call- for you to see things through a different perspective.
I personally stopped because my doctor said if I carried on the way I was going, I would die and not see my kids grow.
The thought of that completely tore me apart and was the final nail my Smoking Era.
Hope I helped,
Chris

you can quit smoking by not buying them but if u saw someone who is smoking tell to yourself no i don’t want to smoke anymore…..it is all up to you if u want to smoke or not it is all up to SELF-DISCIPLINE

Patches, Gum, Looseness, what ever works for you…. I am currently trying to quit for the about he 8th time.I smoked for over 25 years. Longest time I have stayed quit is 9 months.Shortest is one week.this time I am on my 8th week. Sometimes I take deep breaths 6 to 10, chew allot of gum, drink water. Not nicotine gum when I have on a patch (when wearing the patch and want to chew gum I get regular gum a day I don’t wear the patch I,carry the nicotine gum also.)Chew straws talk to your doctor what ever it takes succeed Good luck to you I wish you the best.

I was always an “Outside Smoker”. So I would go outside and pretend to smoke, using the hand motions and sucking up cold fresh air instead. I would stay out and do it for as long as I would normally smoke a cigarette. It only took a few times before my body accepted the real air instead. I smoked for 30 years and this was the only method I ever used to quit. Worked for me… good luck.

Here is the best advice I can give you. I get this advice from experience. I was able to successfully quit when I was ready. If you are not ready on the inside, i mean heart and mind, then you will not be able to have the will power to defeat the nicotine. Patch or no patch, It takes the person to want to quit, not just saying they want to quit. Good Luck, I have felt alot better since quitting, and I don’t want to go back.

Find a new hobby that you enjoy. You can also try the nicotine patch. There are a couple of them on the market to choose from. Hangout with people that don’t have the habbit. Hopes this helps.

First, smoking under 18 is illegal. 2, go to the doctor and ask what medicine to take.

I tried for many years to quit smoking, going through hypnosis, pills, patches, behavior modification. What finally worked for me was to limit my smoking to one very limited place and then only when I was standing. It very quickly lowered my number of daily smokes and within a few weeks I was able to quit entirely. It wasn’t easy, but it’s well worth the effort. Good luck!
