What exactly do your lungs go through when you quit smoking?
treehugger asked:
I have recently quit smoking. (I smoked heavily for 11 yrs.) It’s been about a week, and I can NOT stop coughing. I assume my lungs are just healing from the previous smoking. How long does this horrible coughing last?
