Smoking And Mouth Cancer

Smoking has been proved to have a serious link with lung cancer you can even read the warning to the health effects of smoking printed on packs of cigarettes. Links between smoking and other cancers have been recently discovered and have been seriously growing these days one of those well known types of cancer is mouth cancer that includes tongue, lips, throat and other parts of the mouth more then 30,000 people experience mouth cancer every year and a great proportion of them die because of it.
Mouth cancer affects the human body in many ways especially in appearance; you may even get your tongue cut into half because of mouth cancer! Many researches have done recently and had proved the link between mouth cancer and smoking as it has been well known that smoking effects and rots the teeth and can even cause bad breath it also effects the growth of gum tissues.
Although mouth cancer can be easily noticeable in the early stages before it eats up your mouth it can affect your looks and the feel of your mouth these are some of the symptoms that occur during the first stages of mouth cancer:
1. Frequent sore throat and stubborn lumps in the mouth.
2. White, dark or red patches that is not usual.
3. Regular pain, bleeding in the mouth.
4. Puffiness or thickening of the cheeks because of the tissue growing.
5. Swallowing, chewing or moving the tongue can be quit difficult.
6. Moving the jaw can be difficult due to continued swelling and pain.
7. The feeling of pain in and around the teeth.
8. Teeth fall out easily
9. Swelling in the neck and experiencing bad breath.
