Any Advice On How To Quit Smoking Cigarettes?
I’ve been a smoker for about 8 years. I smoke about a pack a day. I recently found out I had asthma so I really want to quit. I attempted yesterday , but couldn’t even last 24 hours. My doctor suggested to keep busy, and stay motivated. Doing hobbies and excersizing. How ever after about 12 hours of not smoking I developed a terrible migrane and lost any ambition or energy to do anything. I felt so terrible I even called out of work. Does anybody have any advice ???

There is a new pill out that is suppossed to be very effective. I know two people taking it now that are making good progress. Check out this website for more info:http://www.chantix.com/content/Chantix_B…

Get a different doctor. There are a number of smoking cessation aids out there. Some of these aids require a prescription from a doctor. Doesn’t sound like your doctor is interested or knowledgeable about any of them.
Check out Quit Assist, http://www.philipmorrisusa.com/en/quitas… and Yahoo support group called Nicotine Buster. Both sites have a wealth of information on quitting smoking. Nicotine Busters provides great support.
Good luck to you.

Everybody has to find the way that’s best for them….I smoked for about 15 years and I couldn’t do anything except put them down….I had to go cold turkey….for the first few days…ain’t gonna lie it was HELL but I only counted one minute to the next then hours, then days….if I messed up I didn’t beat myself down…I just kept of course until I was free cause I wanted to be free…..I feel better…I smell better…and look better….
THE PAYOFF IS WORTH YOUR DISCOMFORT…YOU’LL FEEL SO MUCH BETTER….DON’T GIVE UP….HANG IN THERE
