- uuuhhh …let’s see,…he quit because his Mullah at the local mosque told him that Allah frowns on smoking. Is that what you wanted to hear?
-how about, he quit because Michelle got sick of her curtains smelling of stale cigarrettes?
-or maybe it bothers you that he had the willpower to quit when you didn’t?
-all of the above
-none of the above

Being a smoker myself whose quit too many times to count, I don’t believe that he could quit just like that. When someone quits and something stressful comes along, to ease that feeling you go for the cigarettes.
With him being in such a stressful position right now, I think he’s quitting to get elected. I wouldn’t doubt nor blame him because it’s VERY hard to quit, that he’s sneaking a smoke or two. If he has quit 100%, I give him alot of credit. I bet when the cameras are off , he’s not a very happy camper to be around.

I really don’t care.
Smoking is a very addictive activity. I cannot imagine quitting during the stress of a presidential campaign. If could even cut back, that shows more self-control than 99% of people could show.

He told his wife that if he goes for the presidency, he’ll quit smoking. He stopped and he now uses nicotine gum to help his cravings. Do you notice that he is more confident in his speaking?

I don’t care. Whatever the reason, good for him for trying. Smoking is highly addictive and difficult to quit.
I don;t know one smoker who is glad they smoke and never want to stop.

He hasn’t quit. He admitted to sneaking a cig every once in awhile. After about a year without cheating, then I’ll consider him an ex-smoker.

If he actually did quit, it could only be for the purpose of getting elected. That’s the only reason politicians ever do anything…

Who cares?? What does him smoking have to do with him being an effective president or leader? nothing! So i suggest you look at his views on health care, the economy, or iraq…not if he smokes or not!

Who said he quit at all?
Yes, he’s just a closet smoker.
This makes him an appeaser!

Do you have a link that shows him not smoking.

Health, he’s young and healthy, unlike McCain

He only smokes crack cocaine now.

I believe it’s the latter reason.

No. Because if he smoked, I sure wouldn’t vote for him. Forget about the economy and Iraq.(sarcasm)
