it’s not “psychological” & ya don’t need to “talk” to him about it;; it’s a HABIT, just like smoking;; break the habit, you’ll quit the crave;; go grab a yogurt from the fridge when he gets home, go vaccuum the floor, give him a kiss instead, let it lead to the bedroom, oh, well, then you’ll really want a cigarette after that, so can that;; but find something to do with your hands & your mind when he gets home…

This sounds like it could be a deeply psychological issue. You might even want to talk to a therapist about this. They will help you understand why he is a trigger for you and how you can overcome this association or replace it with something healthier.

Ask yourself why do you tend to want a cigarette when you see your husband. You might have a problem with him and need to talk about it. Also we need more information because this might have to do with your marriage.

Use Nicorette gum instead of cigarettes when he gets home.
