How Do I Stop Smoking?
amongst many things, I’m very determined to stop smoking for once. I’ve tried it more times than I can remember and failed “instatnly” every single time. Today I have not smoked a single ciggarette, I hope I can make it this time around.
Any suggestions?

My older sister found out she was pregnant not too long ago and she was a heavy smoker. She quit cold turkey. Her trick was everytime she wanted a cigarette she’d drink a cup of milk. Eventually it started making her sick and when ever she would want a smoke it would make her feel like vomiting, which in turn made her not want to smoke.
My husband ( I know how you love hearing about him ~sarcasm intended~) He is trying to quit by weening him self off them. He went from smoking 10 or more to day to smoking halfs and just gradually smoking less and less. To day he is down to 3 a day, but he smokes them in halves.. (his reason for quiting smokes are $10 + a pack)
Good luck on your goal to quit. If you can I will think you are a very strong person.

replace it with something else. another oral activity. try gum. or even better, replace it with t’ai chi instead. good luck. remember after 72 hours the nicotine is all gone from your body. make it there, and the rest is all in your mind.

Keep trying and never give up, it’s not easy but you can make it if you WANT it.
I quit since 4-15-08 after over 32 years of smoking over one pack day. Good luck, Mike!
