in the blood a few days, in your musculature it can remain for months. If you stste you don’t smoke you will pay lower premiums but if you die or suffer from an ailment linked to cigarette smoking they can deny your claims. So either be honest or skip the insurance because your autopsy (which is required for insurance payout) will reveal your secret and your family will get nothing
