What Are Symptoms Of Quitting Hydrocodone Cold Turkey?
I have quit COLD TURKEY and want to know what to expect. Was taking 20-25 regular strength vicodin a day. HELP, please!

I sooo know the answer to this because i am addicted to hydrocodone and have been for a long time, due to the 12 surgeries I have had, the symptoms include….
1. Diarrhea
2. Nausea/Vomiting
3. Shaking/ Chills
4. Abdominal Pain
5. Irregular Heartbeat
6.Headaches
7.Sweating
good luck the symptoms can get really bad you may need to call your doctor but they will subside in a few days may take a week though. I know how hard it is to quit taking them i would quit if I wasn’t in so much pain.

okay i have never experienced this myself, but i had a friend who had the same prob and then quit (yay for her and yay for you), but she had mild symptoms, such as sweating, headaches ( i know they got pretty bad, just take 4 advil ), some very very mild shaking, insomnia, cravings, and went from being hot to cold, it only lasted a couple days and she was a little moody, but then all is fine… but if you were taking prescribed vicodin for a short period anywhere from 1- up to even 4 months, you should be fine and prolly have no symptoms. hope this helps…
