Why Are Alcohol And Nicotine Legal While Other Drugs...
I’m interested in hearing feedback from people who have read the drug war compromise… www.civilcongress.org/drugwarcompromise
Of course, I am very interested in hearing answers to this question… Why are alcohol and nicotine, arguably the two worst drugs, legal and not demonized the way other recreational drugs are?

Ever hear of the DEA, APA and American prison system. MONEY
Do you know who Harry Anslinger was? This racist bastard is one of the reasons why pot is illegal.
The political Kennedy family made their fortune from alcohol… and prohibition was a disaster. The argument for alcohol would be it’s historical significance.
Tobacco is so entrenched in our history… this is another “political” drug.
The drug war… what a joke. So much money wasted by parasites…

We tried to “demonize” alcohol during Prohibition, and that didn’t work.
We are in fact, now trying to “demonize” nicotine as cigarettes are being banned in public places everywhere.
I do agree that marijuana should be legalized, but I have reservations about cocaine and heroin as they are unquestionably destructive.
