Adopting Good Habits to prevent Smoking
Smoking has become a common hazard not only for our family members and friends but to Mother Nature too. We as active citizens of the world should take a pledge that we will promote a new future without tobacco. For that we have to inculcate good habits in our child’s mind itself so that we can prevent them from becoming smokers. Parents should take up this job to teach their children.

It is very disheartening to see so many teenagers smoking at a very early age. Parents should take responsibility and tell their children about the dangers associated with tobacco and smoking. If your child is not addicted, then you as a parent should warn your children not to go to for it. If you teach them at a very early age then the chances of their smoking after they grow up becomes less. In this way smoking can be curbed to some extent. Also tell your children anecdotes about any family members who may have suffered due to smoking. Make them active soldiers of the Nature protecting it at each and every step as much as possible.

If you find that your child is already smoking, then immediately stop him by telling the risks and dangers of his act. Please don’t allow them to smoke more as it is easy to stop them when they are just beginners and it becomes quite difficult as they keep doing it. In fact plan a trip to a hospital and take your child there to see the patients who are suffering from cancer and other ailments after becoming addicted to this deadly product.
If your child is old enough, then you may feel you are helpless, but still forbid him from smoking in your home and take him to the world of reality where people are suffering due to smoking. Make him understand that he has to run a family one day and smoking will not help him in any way.

A Life without cigarettes is worth much more than living with the tag called “SMOKER”
