The most dangerous part of the smoking of cigarettes, however, is what they can do to your lungs. Smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer in the world. Smokers are also at risk for the development of emphysema, breathing an incurable disease.

While some cigarette smoking caused irreparable damage, there is good news for those who decide to quit smoking. There are only ten years after stopping smoking before your lungs back to normal. This means that if you stop smoking, you can create a new lease on life within a period of ten years. Moreover, the immediate effects of stopping smoking are even more exciting.
