This article was a great read. I tried to stop smoking three times and twice (even after 3 MONTHS!) I started again.
The advice you gave on maintaining a healthy lifestyle is what made the difference for me. Now I have gone 8 months without a smoke and even though sometimes I still get the urge, I can beat it.
Excercise is just as addictive I can tell you!
Endorphins really are a ‘feel good drug’ and it’s made life much more enjoyable. I used to go crazy when I had ran out of cigarettes, looking all over for any I might of chucked out in the trash, lack of breath, smoke smelling house, ewww.
It really can be done, I’d used the nicotine replacement products, and although they helped, they still supplied nicotine, so it was me thought that I was just putting things off. It was the clean brake which made the diference for me.
Great advice and like what the article says, often is is perspective which can make the difference.
